This defense of Sayaka Miki from “Puella Magi Madoka Magica” is from an anonymous submitter:
We see a flashback that implies Sayaka knew Kyousuke from a very young age. Homura had known Madoka for only a month when she made her wish, and Kyoko had known Sayaka for LESS than a month when she performed her suicide attack. I’m not hating on either of them, but there’s a double-standard at play. People have called Sayaka weak (and a lot of worse, misogynist things) for liking a boy, because yuri pairings are “better” (fap material). I ship KyoSaya myself, but that’s messed up. /csb
Also, for those asking why Kyoko doesn’t have a post (yet): she got a lot of fans right off the bat because she was aggressive and badass (for not caring about civilians and beating up Sayaka).
That’s the only issue I have with the other people’s acts. Don’t get me wrong, they’re valiant, but as you said… Homura only knew Madoka for a month, and Kyouko knew her for even less of a time.
